Little Activites

Despite the busyness, we’ve tried to get out to do some fun things. Matt found a fun park that has animals and a little stream that you can walk through. She loved it.

We went to visit Dinosaur Ridge, which isn’t too far from where we live. It was interesting to see the fossils and learn that Colorado apparently used to be beachfront property.

I love this; it looks like she’s running from the dinosaur, hahaha

My brother Carl lives about 20 minutes away from us and so we had their kids come for a sleepover. We got out to a little place called “Tiny Town”, which is appropriately named since that’s exactly what it is. They have built a whole town a small scale, and the detail is pretty amazing. It’s really a pretty big town too, as far as the number of buildings they have. There is also a playground and a picnic area and a mini train to ride on too. It was fun; we had a really good time and it was nice to get to know my nieces and nephew better.

Just waiting for the train

On the train ride! Choo Choo!

We have made some friends here, Kristin, and her son Connor, that we’ve hung out with quite a bit. Connor is on the left and Abrielle on the right. This is at the children’s museum where they are anxiously awaiting this mist filled bubble to drop from the ceiling. It’s pretty cool.

She also got pampered by Matt, getting her toenails painted by him, haha. He’s a bit of a perfectionist, so it took him like an hour with her moving around, etc. to do it, haha
